Copper will have a bright appearance right after being made or polished, but it is known to quickly oxidize and gain pretty brown hues. With prolonged contact with the skin it can turn the skin green, this is very unlikely with a pendant, but it is just the copper oxidising and reacting with your sweat and skin oils.
